Day 1: Australia – – Santiago (D)
Today, depart Australia for South America! On arrival in Santiago you will be meet by a Webjet representative and transferred to your hotel.
Santiago, Chile’s capital and largest city, sits in a valley surrounded by the snowcapped Andes and the Chilean Coastal Range. Plaza de Armas, the grand heart of the city’s old colonial core, is home to 2 neoclassical landmarks: the early-19th-century Royal Court Palace, which houses the National History Museum, and the 18thcentury Metropolitan Cathedral .
Tonight, enjoy a welcome dinner to get to know your fellow travellers.
Day 2: Santiago—Vina Del Mar—Santiago (B)
After breakfast, we head for the coastline located 120 kilometers of Santiago. En-route, we visit two important cities, Viña del Mar and Valparaíso, a port city founded in the XVI century and declared World heritage by UNESCO. Along the way we’ll stop by the Pablo Neruda museum, a famous Nobel Prize winning Chilean poet before continuing this beautiful route in front of the sea to arrive at the city of Viña del Mar, known as the ’Garden City’, inspired by the French Riviera. Here will visit the Flower Clock and go through the Peru Avenue, with its traditional Casino and exquisite Hotel Del Mar. Finally we see a traditional Moai statue from the mysterious Easter Island before returning to Santiago where the rest of the evening is at leisure.
Day 3: Santiago – – Buenos Aires (B)
This morning after breakfast you will be picked up from the hotel and transferred to the airport for your flight to Argentina! Upon arrival into Buenos Aires a Webjet representative will meet you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel where the rest of the afternoon is at leisure.
Buenos Aires is known for its European atmosphere, passionate tango and vibrant nightlife. Its centre is the 16th-century Plaza de Mayo, lined with stately buildings including Casa Rosada, the iconic, balconied presidential palace.
Day 4: Buenos Aires (B)
Today after breakfast we head out to explore Buenos Aires. We begin at May Square and discover the history of this site where the most important historical events in Argentina have taken place. We gaze at the emblematic buildings that line its edges and wonder in awe at the oldest residential neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, San Telmo. Walk along its cobble-stoned streets and discover its antiques shops and picturesque buildings.
Live and feel the famous Tango dance in the neighbourhood of La Boca: walk along Caminito Street and enjoy the dancers and souvenir shops. Travel along the Madero Port and its exclusive docks before passing through the Retiro neighbourhood before arriving at Recoleta, the final resting place of Eva Peron, “Evita”. We will then head back to the hotel where the rest of the afternoon is at leisure.
Optional Tour: Dinner and Tango Show. Living whiteness of over one hundred years of “porteño” history and today in the avant-garde of tango, the show at Café de los Angelitos luxuriously covers tango”s opulence period while writing the next page of its history.
Day 5: Buenos Aires (B)
After breakfast, today is yours to explore Buenos Aires and get to know this incredible city with its European feel.
Optional Tour: A day at the Pampas with lunch. This is a visit to a typical “estancia” of the Argentine wet pampas, one of the most fertile natural prairies of the world and famous for its meat and cereal production. Enjoy Argentinian wines and take in folkloric songs, dances and show of Creole. Enjoy the flavour of our “pampas” with a Argentinian BBQ at a local ranch. After lunch, see a traditional Gaucho”s Show and appreciate the typical “Ring Race” (Carrera de Sortijas) or ride on horseback.
Optional Tour: Tigre Delta Navigation. This tour will allow you to explore and enjoy the nature, very close to the city. On the way north to Tigre, and one of the biggest Deltas in the world. Enjoy a boat trip with views of beautiful riverside villas, Victorian docks, English gardens, and traditional rowing and boating clubs.
Day 6: Buenos Aires – – Rio de Janeiro (B)
This morning after breakfast you will be picked up from the hotel and transferred to the airport for your flight to Brazil.
Upon arrival into Rio de Janerio a Webjet representative will meet you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel where the rest of the afternoon is at leisure. Rio de Janeiro is a huge seaside city in Brazil, famed for its Copacabana and Ipanema beaches, 38m Christ the Redeemer statue atop Mt. Corcovado and Sugarloaf, a granite monolith with cable cars to its summit.
Day 7: Rio de Janeiro (B)
After breakfast we head out to visit Rio’s biggest sites. We begin by passing the Sambodrome before visiting the Metropolitan Cathedral, built in pyramidal form. Familiarise yourself with the traditional Cinelandia Square and its historical buildings before visiting one of the cities most famous landmarks, Sugarloaf Mountain. We will travel all the way to the top by way of two step Cable Car. The first cable car takes us to Urca Hill, a vantage point 215 meters high for which already grants beautiful views of Guanabara Bay and its islands. From this stage, a second cable car takes us up to the top. At 395 metres enjoy splendid views of Copacabana beach, the Santa Cruz fortress and several beaches of Niterói. After, we head back down to the hotel. The rest of the afternoon is at leisure.
Day 8: Rio de Janeiro (B)
Today we head for a tour of tour of Corcovado Mountain and the beaches. Board a cog train from Cosme Velho Station for a ride to Corcovado Mountain to visit one of the world’s most famous landmarks, Christ the Redeemer. Experience the 20 minutes steep train journey which takes you through the dense Atlantic rain forest of Tijuca offering a wonderful opportunity for a closer look at the forest’s lush tropical vegetation and to enjoy scenic landscapes of the beaches and city. At the top of Corcovado we will be met by a towering statue of Christ the Redeemer, on of the New 7 Wonders of the World. We then descend by train to continue our tour passing by Rio’s world-famous beaches before returning to the hotel. The rest of the afternoon is at leisure.
Optional Tour: Samba Show. Have fun and enjoy a great samba show where “mulatas” exhibit the intricate steps of local dances and “batuqueiros” produce a delirium beat from exotic percussion instruments the world most famous mark of samba rhythm.
Day 9: Rio de Janeiro – – Iguassu Falls (B)
This morning after breakfast you will be picked up from the hotel and transferred to the airport for your flight to Iguassu Falls. Upon arrival into Iguassu a Webjet representative will meet you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel where the rest of the afternoon is at leisure. One of the planet’s most awe-inspiring sights, the Iguazú Falls are simply astounding. A visit is a jaw-dropping, visceral experience, and the power and noise of the cascades.
Day 10: Iguassu Falls (B)
Today we leave the hotel and head for the Argentina side of Iguassu over the Tancredo Neves Bridge spanning the Iguassu River, which separates the border between Argentina and Brazil. Once in Argentina, a scenic highway up to the Argentine Iguassu Park is taken from where the visit of the Argentinean Falls at Porto Canoas, which gives the access to the very brink of the awe-inspiring Devil’s Throat, largest of the Argentinean Falls, including the San Martin Falls. On the way back from the falls a stop at the “Three Borders” Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay meet before heading back to the hotel. The rest of the afternoon is at leisure.
Day 11: Iguassu Falls – – Lima (B)
This morning after breakfast you will be picked up from the hotel and transferred to the airport for your flight to Lima. Upon arrival into Lima a Webjet representative will meet you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel where the rest of the afternoon is at leisure.

Day 12: Lima – – Cusco – Sacred Valley (B)
This morning after breakfast you will be picked up from the hotel and transferred to the airport for your flight to Cusco. Upon arrival into Cusco a Webjet representative will meet you at the airport and transfer you to the Sacred Valley town of Pisac. Today we’ll visit its colorful market where local artisans sell their wares, from alpaca clothing and accessories to silver jewelry & pottery pieces. The rest of the afternoon is at leisure.
Day 13: Sacred Valley (B)
After breakfast we discover the best of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. We begin with the Linca’s Balcony in Chinchero, a beautiful place with an impressive view, where twelves families still preserve their traditional costumes, showing you the ancestral way in which they process the wool, and obtain those vivid colors for their textiles. We the arrive in Moray, an impressing pre-Inca greenhouse before visiting Ollantaytambo, one of the most monumental architectural complexes of the ancient Inca Empire and one of the few places where the Spanish conquistadors lost a major battle. Ollantaytambo was a highly effective fortress, that also served as a temple.
Day 14: Sacred Valley – – Machu Picchu (B)
Awaiting you today is by far one of the main highlights in your journey, Machu Picchu, a national sanctuary and World Cultural Heritage site. Our journey to the top is by train. Once there, you will disembark before board a bus the rest of the way to the Machu Picchu archaeological site, where you will definitely have an experience you will never forget. There is plenty of time to wonder the ruins and take some unforgettable photos before descending to Aguas Calientes, a small Machu Picchu Town for your overnight stay.
Day 15: Machu Picchu – – Cusco (B)
Today, we take the train back to Ollantaytambo where you’ll be transferred toy our Cusco hotel. The rest of the afternoon is at leisure.
Day 16: Cusco (B)
Declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco, Cusco is remarkable. We’ll start today at the Koricancha temple, an ancient Inca palace and main worship center of the Sun God, where the order of the Dominicans built an incredible church that can still be seen there. We’ll then continue to where ancient meets colonial at the Plaza de Armas. This is where the Cathedral and the beautiful Church of the Society of Jesus, among other colonial buildings, are located. We then continue the journey to the colonial church of San Cristóbal to enjoy a spectacular view of the city before visiting the fortress of Sacsayhuaman, an Inca building known for its massive walls of hewn stone. We finish off our exploration with a visit to the important archaeological complexes of Qenko and Puca Pucara before returning to the hotel.
Day 17: Cusco – Puno (B,L)
Today you’ll board a tourist coach from Cusco to Puno. Along the way enjoy the wonderful scenery of the South Valley of Cusco. En-route visit La Raya, the highest point on the road between Cusco and Puno, from where you’ll get an excellent photo opportunity of the valley below. Visit the Racchi ruins, known as “The Temple of God Wiracocha” before the last stop at Andahuaylillas, a town where a precious church from the 17th century boasts an amazing organ decorated with angels and cherubs, after this you will arrive to Puno and be transferred to your hotel where to rest of the afternoon is at leisure.
Day 18: Puno – Lake Titicaca – Puno (B)
Today we’ll start by heading to the marina at Puno Bay to board a boat out to the Uros Islands of Lake Titicaca. These are a fantastic group of floating islands made by the islanders from reeds growing around the lake. They live on these platforms and fish, hunt, and create and sell handmade crafts for a living. There are 55 islands in total, and an average of 2000 people live on them. After we’ll return to the hotel where the afternoon is at leisure.
Day 19: Puno – -Lima (B,D)
This morning after breakfast you will be picked up from the hotel and transferred to the airport for your flight to Lima. Upon arrival into Lima a Webjet representative will meet you at the airport and transfer your hotel. This afternoon discover the bohemian district of Barranco and its traditional Bridge of Sighs. Enjoy a delicious buffet dinner and spectacular show in the restaurant “La Dama Juana”, which features the most important manifestations of dances, music and Peruvian folklore and celebrate your South American journey.
Day 20: Lima – – Australia (B)
This morning after breakfast you will be picked up from the hotel and transferred to the airport for your flight back to Australia.
