Seaplane Transfers: Seaplane transfers: Seaplane transfer cannot be guaranteed. Seaplane operates to a limited schedule and has a maximum capacity of 15 passengers. Should they not be available or your arrival to Maldives is in the evening, you will be transferred to the island on a domestic flight – Flyme operated by Villa Air. The flight will land at the nearby island – Dharavandhoo airport, and then customers will be picked up from the airport and transferred to the resort via speedboat. Approximate duration of the domestic flight from Male to Dharavandhoo is 30 min, speedboat transfer can take an additional 45 minutes.

SNORKELLING IN THE GALAPAGOS:

Like any physical outdoor activity, snorkelling does have some safety risks. While we provide adequate training to our guides and suitable safety briefing information to our travellers, ultimately you must also be responsible for your own safety. There is no official snorkelling guide certification in Galapagos, so your activity leader will not be a professional snorkelling guide. If you have no or poor swimming ability you should not take part and can do alternative activities instead. Please discuss this directly with your guide and only take part in snorkelling if you feel confident that all safety information is clear and that you are competent to partake the activity.

While most of the time river cruises operate exactly as planned, weather conditions may result in high or low water levels which impact a ship’s itinerary and, on occasion, render a ship unable to sail at all. On very rare occasions, other events such as heavy fog, a damaged lock, or an incapacitated vessel blocking the river, may impact a sailing. These events typically occur with little or no notice. In the event that a cruise is partially or completely impacted, the itinerary will be operated by deluxe motor coach, accompanied by a Tour Manager, with overnights in hotels. The itinerary will include as many of the originally scheduled sightseeing features as possible, considering the travel time and distances required, as well as meals.

Hurtigruten require all passengers to complete an additional personal information form along with a medical questionnaire which includes confirmation of fitness to travel from your doctor. Both forms will be emailed to you closer to your travel date.

Hurtigruten require these forms completed and returned prior to travel and for each passenger to carry a copy on their person. Guests without the completed questionnaire will be refused embarkation.

  • Changes to the arrival and/or departure cities must be on the same continent as the original arrival/departure city of the tour itinerary.
  • Flights will be booked using the promotional carrier outlined above in the Airline Information along with any codeshare partners. Tickets will be issued as per the request in the special request box on the booking form and emailed to you. Any further change requests post booking will incur change fees so please ensure you confirm your exact dates at the time of booking.
  • In the event you require additional internal flights to meet the tours arrival or departure points, these will need to be booked by the individual customer at their own expense.   • Upon completing your booking, a quote will be sent via email which includes the additional amount due per person should you wish to proceed with the upgrade, together with the payment due date which is typically 24-48 hours.

MS Fram was built in 2007 with one mission in mind – to bring her guests closer to nature, wildlife and unforgettable experiences. The spacious outside decks include access to the very front of the ship – a great place to observe marine wildlife.

The observation lounge, with comfortable sitting areas at the top of the ship and large panoramic windows, gives you incredible views of nature. A pair of binoculars is installed for spotting wildlife and details of the ever-changing landscape.

In the restaurant on deck 5, you can enjoy the finest cuisine. The floor has different levels, so no matter where your table is placed; there are views to the outdoors.

At the far end of the restaurant there is a balcony for taking pictures when wildlife show up during a meal. On deck 7 you will find a well-equipped fitness room, with its panoramic ocean view there is no better place to exercise.
