Day 1: Australia – – Singapore
Fly out to Singapore today. Make your own way to the beautiful Mandarin Orchard Singapore for check-in and the start of your free three days exploring this dynamic city. The rest of the day is at your leisure.
Day 2: Singapore (B)
You have the entire day to get to know Singapore however you like. Keen shoppers may immediately hit Orchard Road, or you could head to Gardens by the Bay.

Use today to see aspects of Singapore you couldn’t fit in yesterday.
Day 4: Singapore – – Colombo, Sri Lanka (B)
Make your way to Singapore Changi Airport (SIN) to catch your Singapore Airlines flight to the capital of Sri Lanka, Colombo. Once you have landed and collected your luggage, you will be met by a tour representative and introduced to your chauffeur guide. You can then head out into Colombo to begin seeing the city’s sights as you like.
Day 5: Colombo – Kandalama (B)
Today’s journey takes you from Colombo to Kandalama. The travel time comes in at about 4 hours 30 minutes. Any pitstops or visits you make along the way are completely up to you; the sightseeing itinerary is in your hands. A popular stop to break up the drive is Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage.
Day 6: Kandalama (B)
You have a full day of free time. Your driver and car are at your disposal for any excursions, however please note the limit on this additional travel is 80 kilometres. Some suggested day trips include Sigiriya, Polonnaruwa, Anuradhapura or Dambulla Cave Temple.
Day 7: Kandalama (B)
Take advantage of your second day in Kandalama to arrange another excursion (80-kilometre travel limit applies) or stay close to the hotel and use the time to relax.
Day 8: Kandalama – Nuwara Eliya (B)
Head out on the drive from Kandalama to Nuwara Eliya today. The travel time for the drive is approximately 5 hours, however you may like to make a pitstop in Kandy to see the city’s lake or Temple of the Tooth along the way. Upon your arrival in Nuwara Eliya, a city dubbed ‘Little England’, you will check in to the Heritance Tea Factory. This luxury hotel was once a tea factory and has exquisite views across green tea fields.
Day 9: Nuwara Eliya (B)
The day is yours to get out and explore or take a day trip to neighbouring sights and landmarks, such as Horton Plains National Park, Hakgala Botanical Garden and Seetha Amman Temple. A travel limit of 80 kilometres applies.
Day 10: Nuwara Eliya (B)
Arrange to discover more of the area surrounding Nuwara Eliya today (travel limit applies) or stay close to the hotel. Keen golfers can tee off at a local golf course; take a boat ride on Gregory Lake or pack a picnic for Victoria Park.
Day 11: Nuwara Eliya – Ahungalla (B)
Hit the road again, today for the drive to Ahungalla. The journey is expected to take about 5 hours 30 minutes. Arrive in this laidback beach town to check in at the Heritance Ahungalla, a 5-star bolthole with ocean-facing swimming pools, water sport facilities, games and gym amenities, putting green, and a handful of on-site eateries and restaurants.
Day 12: Ahungalla (B)
What to do today? Those keen to see more of the area can choose to visit Galle and stroll the streets of the old town, or perhaps arrange a visit at Handunugoda Tea Factory or a local turtle hatchery. (Please note that an 80-kilometre travel limit applies). Those with more leisurely pursuits in mind can base themselves in a pool-side sun lounge for the day.
Day 13: Ahungalla (B)
Today is your last full day in Sri Lanka. Squeeze in any activities or trips to sights you haven’t got to yet or keep relaxing at the hotel and making the most of the luxurious facilities.
Day 14: Ahungalla – Colombo – – Australia (B)
You will be picked up for a transfer to Bandaranaike International Airport in Colombo and you will board a return flight to Australia.
Day 15: Australia
Arrive back in Australia today.
