Arrive in to Bergen and make your own way to your centrally located hotel. You are then at leisure to enjoy this historic town and relax after your journey.

Bergen is surrounded by mountains and fjords, including Sognefjord, the country’s longest and deepest. Bryggen features colourful wooden houses on the old wharf, once a centre of the Hanseatic League’s trading empire.

Today is a full day to explore this picturesque city at your own pace.

Day 4: Bergen – train-icon– Voss (B) 

Spend the day discovering Bergen at your leisure. Essential sights are the old Bryggen harbour, the fish and flower markets, and St Mary’s Church, the oldest building in the city. We also recommend catching the funicular railway to the top of Mt Floyen for wonderful views. After lunch it is time to make your way to the railway station in Bergen for your train trip to Voss; approximately 1 hours and 20 minutes. On arrival to Voss, you are just a few hundred meters from your hotel for the next two nights.

Day 5: Voss – Flam –  bus-icon – Gudvangen – cruise-icon– Flam –train-icon – Voss (B) 

Day 6: Voss –train-icon – Oslo (B) 

Travel to Oslo on the historic Bergen Railway. Starting from sea level, this remarkable train journey rises to cross a windswept mountain plateau before descending through a landscape of lakes, waterfalls and forests to the Norwegian capital. A spectacular day not to forget! On arrival, make the short distance to your hotel for your overnight stay.

Day 7: Oslo – cruise-icon – Copenhagen (B)

Today, the morning is at leisure to explore the Norwegian capital. At the appropriate time, make your way to the central ferry port to board your overnight ferry to Copenhagen.

Day 8: Copenhagen (B)

This morning, your ferry ports into Copenhagen. Disembark your ship and make your way to your hotel.  Copenhagen, Denmark’s capital, sits on the coastal islands of Zealand and Amager. It’s linked to Malmo in southern Sweden by the Öresund Bridge. Indre By, the city’s historic centre, contains Frederiksstaden, an 18th-century rococo district, home to the royal family’s Amalienborg Palace. Nearby is Christiansborg Palace and the Renaissance-era Rosenborg Castle, surrounded by gardens and home to the crown jewels.

The morning is at leisure to enjoy the city. This afternoon you will be joining other travellers, your tour guide will meet you at the hotel before enjoying a canal cruise of Copenhagen’s waterways. The classic cruise departs from Nyhavn or Gammel Strand and passes some of Copenhagen’s best sights and attractions, giving you the best vantage point from water. After, you are transferred back to your hotel where the rest of the evening is at leisure.

Day 9: Copenhagen (B) 

Today after breakfast, we journey out to visit the Christiansborg Palace, located on the tiny island of Slotsholmen. It contains the Danish Parliament Folketinget, the Supreme Court, and the Ministry of State. Parts of the palace are used by the Royal Family for various functions and events. The Royal Reception Rooms include The Tower Room and The Oval Throne Room where foreign ambassadors to Denmark are received by the Queen. Continue on to the Nyhavn or Canal District. Lined by brightly coloured 17th and early 18th century townhouses and bars, cafes and restaurants. The canal also harbours many historical wooden ships. View The Little Mermaid statue, based on the fairy tale of the same name by Danish author Hans Christian Andersen, the small and unimposing statue is a Copenhagen icon and has been a major tourist attraction since 1913. After, return to the hotel where the rest of the afternoon is at leisure.

Day 10: Copenhagen – Stockholm (B)

In the morning, leave Denmark and cross over the Oresund bridge to Sweden. Your journey will take you through a patchwork of fertile farmlands and along the peaceful shores of Lake Vattern. Continue to Stockholm, which is set on 14 beautiful islands. On arrival, the rest of the evening is at leisure.

Stockholm, the capital of Sweden, encompasses 14 islands and more than 50 bridges on an extensive Baltic Sea archipelago. The cobblestone streets and ochre-colored buildings of Gamla Stan (the old town) are home to the 13th-century Storkyrkan Cathedral, the Kungliga Slottet Royal Palace and the Nobel Museum, which focuses on the Nobel Prize.

Day 11: Stockholm – cruise-icon – Helsinki (B)

Today, enjoy a full day of sightseeing in the Swedish capital. Tour the city’s highlights beginning with Stadshuset (City Hall). Enjoy a guided tour of the hall, with its spire featuring the golden Three Crowns, is one of the most famous silhouettes in Stockholm. It is one of the country’s leading examples of national romanticism in architecture. Continue to the Vasa Museum. The ‘Vasa’ is ship and the only preserved seventeenth-century ship in the world, including unique art treasure. More than 95 percent of the ship is original, and it is decorated with hundreds of carved sculptures. We then head to the Royal Palace, one of the largest palaces in Europe! The Royal Palace is the official residence of His Majesty the King of Sweden, with over 600 room. Enjoy entrance into the Palace, visit the reception rooms with splendid interiors from the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, Rikssalen (the Hall of State) with Queen Kristina’s silver throne, and Ordenssalarna (Halls of the Orders of Chivalry). You can also see Gustav III’s Museum of Antiquities, the Tre Kronor Museum and the Treasury. Finally, we visit the Djurgården (Royal Canal) before transferring to the port of Stockholm to board your overnight ferry to Helsinki.

Day 12: Helsinki (B)

This morning, wake up as we are entering the port of Helsinki. After having breakfast, disembark from your ferry where you’ll be met and collected to begin a sightseeing tour of spectacular Helsinki. During the tour you will see the beautiful Helsinki Cathedral at the Senate Square, the famous church built inside a rock, the Temppeliaukio church. Quarried out of the natural bedrock, Temppeliaukio Church is one of Helsinki’s most popular tourist attractions. The interior walls are created naturally by the rock. The church was designed by architects Timo and Tuomo Suomalainen and opened in 1969. Due to its excellent acoustics the church is a popular venue for concerts.

Day 13: Helsinki (B)

Enjoy a full day at leisure in the Finnish capital. The centre of the city is small and very pedestrian friendly. Spend the whole day uncovering the beauty of this city.

Day 14: Helsinki – airplane-takeoff– Australia (B) 

After breakfast, check out of your hotel for your onwards journey. Make your own way to the airport to board your flight. We hope you have enjoyed your Arctic experience!

Your tour from Voss starts by traveling by bus, beginning within a very short walk from your hotel, through charming villages and scenic nature landscapes, towards Gudvangen. The bus will arrive in Gudvangen, where you continue the tour by taking a fjord cruise on the on the narrow Nærøyfjord and the magnificent Aurlandsfjord. The Aurlandsfjord is a picturesque fjord that offers stunning views, while the Nærøyfjord is a dramatic fjord surrounded by high mountains. Nærøyfjorden is one of the most narrow fjords in Europe and included on UNESCO’s World Heritage List. After your fjord cruise you arrive in the small village of Flåm, nestled in the innermost part of the Aurlandsfjord, where your tour continues by taking the legendary Flåm Railway. The Flåm Railway offers spectacular panoramic views to some of the wildest and most magnificent nature in the Norwegian fjord landscape. The Flåm Railway will arrive in Myrdal, where you change trains to the Bergen Railway and travel back to Voss – upon arrival short walk to your hotel. Day 14: Helsinki – airplane-takeoff– Reykjavik 

After breakfast, check out of your hotel for your onwards journey to Iceland! Make your own way to the airport to board your flight. On arrival into Reykjavik, transfer from the airport to your Reykjavik hotel as per your own arrangement, then explore the world’s northernmost capital at your leisure for the remainder of the day. Reykjavik, on the coast of Iceland, is the country’s capital and largest city. It’s home to the National and Saga museums, tracing Iceland’s Viking history. The striking concrete Hallgrimskirkja church and rotating Perlan glass dome offer sweeping views of the sea and nearby hills. Exemplifying the island’s volcanic activity is the geothermal Blue Lagoon spa, near the village of Grindavik

Day 15: Reykjavik – Golden Circle – Gullfoss – Geysir – Reykjavik (B) 

Today you will be collected from your hotel to enjoy a tour of some of Iceland’s natural wonders. Begin with the awe-inspiring Gullfoss waterfall. Gullfoss (Golden Waterfall) is an iconic waterfall of Iceland offering a spectacular view of the forces and beauty of untouched nature. Gullfoss is part of the Golden Circle tour, located in South Iceland on the Hvítá (White) river which is fed by Iceland´s second biggest glacier, the Langjökull. The water plummets down 32 meters in two stages into a rugged canyon which walls reach up to 70 meters in height. On a sunny day shimmering rainbow can be seen over the falls. Continue on to explore the bubbling mud pools, geysers and hot springs of the Geysir district. One of the greatest natural attractions of Iceland, Strokkur (The Churn), erupts at regular intervals every 10 minutes or so and its white column of boiling water can reach as high as 30 meters. The whole area is a geothermal park sitting on top of a vast boiling cauldron. Travel on to the UNESCO Thingvellir National Park to witness its natural beauty. The whole tour takes approximately 8 hours, after it’s conclusion you will be dropped back at your Reykjavik hotel where the evening is at leisure.

Day 16: Reykjavik (B) 

Today is a full day to enjoy Reykjavik and the Icelandic way of life.

Day 17: Reykjavik – airplane-takeoff– Akureyri – Lake Myvatn – Akureyri – airplane-takeoff– Reykjavik (B) 

This morning, make your way back to Reykjavik airport to board your internal flight to Akureyri on the northern coast of Iceland. On arrival you will be collected from the airport. Begin the day with a visit to the fabulous Godafoss waterfall before heading to Lake Myvatn – a bird sanctuary with one of the highest concentrations of breeding ducks in the world. See the active Krafla volcano and the sulphur mud pots at Hverarond, then enjoy a walking tour of Dimmuborgir, a surreal lava park. After, you’ll be returned to the airport for your flight back to Reykjavik in the late afternoon.

Day 18: Reykjavik – airplane-takeoff – Australia (B)

  • Must book minimum 65 days prior to departure, whichever is earlier 
  • Book early to secure your desired date and time

Free Date Changes:

  • After booking your travel and paying the deposit, you may change your travel date subject to the following terms.
  • Changes can only be made up until 210 days prior to travel or when the 2nd instalment has been paid, whichever is earlier. After this point, your booking becomes non-changeable and remains strictly non-refundable.
  • Any change is subject to availability
  • To request a date change, please email customerexperience@webjetexclusives.com.au with your existing booking details and your requested travel date.
  • If you choose to change your travel date, you will be requested to complete another booking form. Please ensure you include all preferences and special requests, as prior submissions will not be considered in finalising your booking.

Deposit Information:

  • A deposit of $199 per person plus any applicable surcharges are due at the time of purchase in order to secure your date. 
  • 2nd Instalment: $2500 per person is due 210 days prior to your travel date. If you book within 210 days of travel, you will be sent a final invoice within 7 days. Once this payment is made, no cancellations or amendments are permitted and all prior payments become strictly non-refundable. If you book within 210 days of travel, you will be sent an invoice within 7 days.
  • 3rd Instalment: Final payment is due 120 days prior to your travel date. If you book within 90 days of travel, you will be sent a final invoice within 7 days.
  • PLEASE NOTE: No flight, staybehind or special requests will be actioned until your 2nd instalment payment is made
  • Invoices will be emailed to you in advance and it is your responsibility to ensure payments are made prior to the due date
  • Should payment not be received by the due date, your booking will be cancelled and all prior payments will remain strictly non-refundable

Airline: 

  • Return economy airfare with KLM Airlines (Finnair, Malaysia Airlines, British Airways, China Southern or similar)
  • Internal airfares are with Icelandic Air and Scandinavian Airlines (or similar)
  • Interstate surcharges apply for passengers departing Adelaide or Brisbane of $250 per person
  • Including minimum 23kg of checked baggage per passenger (actual limit is subject to airline).
  • One return airfare is supplied per voucher
  • Names cannot be changed once flights have been booked. Once we receive your form and your dates are available, your booking will be completed – no further changes will be possible.
  • The airfare remains non-refundable at all times.

Flights:

  • Some flights may depart a day before/after, involve up to 2 transits, stopover or a substitute airline. These changes are beyond our control and will be confirmed upon booking.
  • Once your flights are confirmed and ticketed, flights are non-refundable and non-changeable. Full names (First, Middle & Surname) as per passport must be provided for ticketing.
  • Please Note, flight itineraries will not be provided until 30 days prior to departure. If your travel dates are within 30 days of purchase you will be provided with your itinerary within 7 days.
  • All flights have been booked to meet minimum connection times as instructed by the ticketed airline.

Flight Variations: 

If you wish to modify the promotional airfare included in your Webjet Exclusives package, the following Flight Variations can be requested:

  • Early arrival
  • Late departure
  • Upgrade to Premium Economy or Business Class where available
  • Airline of your choice where available

 A $250 per person “breakaway” charge will apply per person plus any applicable fare and tax difference.

In order to obtain a quote for your requested variations, you must purchase your vouchers first and submit your request via the online booking form. On this form will be a section highlighted “Flight Quote Request”. You must complete the mandatory information in this section to be provided with an accurate quote.

PLEASE NOTE: No flight requests/quotes/upgrades will be actioned until your 2nd payment instalment has been made. At this time you will be contact by our operator in relation to your request. Payment of the breakaway fee and any applicable fare and tax difference is to be paid directly to our operator at the time of quotation.

Once flights have been confirmed and ticketed, any voluntary changes made thereafter will incur a change fee plus any fare and tax difference.

Stay behind surcharge:

If you wish to extend your trip, a $250 per person breakaway charge will apply (subject to availability and applicable fare difference). Your stay behind request must be submitted when completing your booking form. Only the return date can be altered. PLEASE NOTE: No staybehind will be actioned until your 2nd payment instalment is made.
